Ok . . . after playing a tiny bit with the programs my friend has, I think I need to do a little investigating. I'm still on the fence -- scrapbooking to me is all about the "hands on" approach, but there are times that I could truly benefit by having a digital program (like for the layout I was working on last night).

Any opinions/comments/recommendations? I've got birthday money to spend on myself before I end up using it to pay bills . . .

Happy & safe weekend to all,
Brenda

Brenda, I think you can download trial versions of Stampin Up and Creative Memories software from their website. Close to My Heart is an online program. That way you can see what you like ;)

Have fun!

So if your very computer savy Photoshop Elements is a great way to go. The possibilities are endless.

If that's not you I would try Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio. In addition to scrapbooks and pages you can make cards, calendars, web video and dvds.

At Christmas I had made a family heritage album and couldn't afford to print one for everybody so I turned them into DVDs. I got some of those DVD tins and decorated those with paper/embellisments so they still got a little hand made.

Also if you think you might like hybrid Stampin Up works directly with a printer so when you get your digiatl page and want to add ribbon or something so long as you use stampin up ribbon you know it will match.

I have the program and am hoping to get to do more with it soon.
