Digital Pictures and Internet Access

HI there,

I was wondering if we sign up for the interent access onboard, would we be able to download our digital pictures and e-mail them home? Or is it preferable to bring additional memory cards and keep filling the cards and download them once we come back home?

Bring memory cards. I remember reading somewhere here that if you can get it on a floppy and if you talk nicely to the person running the cafe you could send 1 or 2 in email to family, but that's about it.

The machines are not setup for public access, you only have a screen, mouse, keyboard.

First respoder to your question is correct. They will only accept floppys to be able to email an attachment. They have no access for cameras or CDs to be used as the source.

Tried to send file on my cruise 2/27-3/1 and found this to be the case. Internet cafe person was nice but unfortunately could not help.

Take additonal memory or lug the laptop for download from camera.
