Digital Picture?

Does anyone know someplace close to DL that lets you download your pictures onto a CD/DVD so that you can then empty the cameras memory card (to fill up again - lol).

We have CVS here in NY.....I'm sure California must have something similar.

I've heard that there's a place in California Adventure that allows you to do this, but I've also heard some scary stories about people getting home and finding out that the CD is blank.

Of course, this is all hearsay.

Yes - i was thinking of that myself. I even asked the woman at CVS yesterday if that ever happened but she didnt understand the question so I didnt press it.

I would love to set my camera on a higher pixal to get the better quality photo but that would cut my pictures in half. I already have a large capacity media card and can probably take 500 pictures on 1 megapixel.

This is probably a stupid question, but is there absolutely no way you could take a laptop to download your pictures to? It seems to me that this is the safest thing to do.

But otherwise, maybe they have a way to look at the CD in the store to make sure that all of the pictures made it.
