Digital photos on computer to sd card HELP!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this...We bought MIL a digital frame for Christmas. I didn't realize that you can't just download pictures right to the frame (I know some models can, but not this one)....Here's my dilemma...I have a fuji finepix that takes xD cards and I have the pix downloaded on the computer. Is there any way to transfer them from the computer to a sd card, MMC, memory stick or memory stick Pro card using a card reader or flash drive so that I can send the card to MIL with the frame (those are the cards that are supported by the frame)

We bought the frame thinking it would be great to send her pictures of the kids (we live in Wisconsin she is in Florida/Ohio). WE bought it in Ohio over the Tday weekend so its not something we'll be able to return easily for something else . I really would like to make this work.

ANy ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

That should not be a problem. Just pick up a multi-format card reader and you can download the pictures from your computer to the SD card to send to your mother in law. Most of the card readers show up as an external device so it is as simple as drag and drop.
