Digital (or is it electronic?) Scrapbooking

Could somebody help me out with this? 1) Are there free site for doing this? And (2) Is it hard? (3) Could someone please let me know of any good sites for this?

I've been digi scrapping for about 8 months now, and once I started I haven't really wanted to go back to paper scrapping! I love that you can reuse, recolor, and modify papers & elements to get them *exactly* the way you want them. And there's no "undo" button in paper scrapping. Plus, you can also modify, crop & resize your pictures on the fly, so to speak. I can make a picture take up almost all of a 12 x 12 LO, or make it much smaller. I love the flexibility! I have 2 little kids, and dragging out traditional scrap stuff was time-consuming & even dangerous with the kids running around.

I also offer free stuff on my blog: http://seebeesfreebies.blogspot.com/ I've been doing some Disneyish stuff lately to get me in the mood for our upcoming trip, but there's other stuff, too. I scrap with PSE4, but I admit it's not the easiest program; most people usually encounter some stumbling blocks when they are first learning. You can get a free demo on Adobe's website, and I believe some of the other popular programs have demos, too.

For making it into a book, I use a certain website (mypublisher.com) that I just download their program, us the JPEG's of my pages.. put it into their little book making program (SUPER simple) and upload it back to them. It's easy! Check out their website!

What size page do you scrap at? I've been looking at printing options lately so just checked out mypublisher, but they only have 3 sizes and none of them are square. I make pages at 12x12 but planned on printing them at 8x8, but if I can find a good price in a book format like that, I would rather just do that instead.

I checked out the websites and they are all awesome! The only problem is, my computer is very slow *kicks it* It would probably be quicker for me to drive the 40 minutes to town and buy the stuff! Hopefully we'll have high-speed out here soon...
