Digital for dummies....ok one dummy....me!

I am looking to buy a digital camera....would like to keep it in the $200 range. I have read most threads/posts and am still confused. I would like something that can hold LOTS of photos.......I took 216 last time we went to WDW and that was 4 days....!!

I would also like something that is pretty user friendly....


any tips?

Just so you know, the number of pictures your camera can hold is not determined by the camera, but rather the memory card you use with it.

My recommendation for a nice, beginners camera would be one of the Canon Digital Elphs, nice pics, pretty simple, and nice and little. Get a 512MB or 1GB card, and you'll have plenty of room for pics!

are most able to hook up to your computer with a USB port?

They are very easy, you simply load the software that comes with the camera and connect the camera to the USB port on your computer.
