Digital Camera that can get wet on a budget?

Be careful buying the dicapacs online. We bought one that they SPECIFICALLY listed as fitting our camera on their website, and it did not.

We ended up buying a waterproof olympus for around $300, and have been happy with it but that might be overkill...

I got mine from Amazon...had no idea that Best Buy sold them. I suppose if it didn't fit I would just return it/exchange for a new one.

Went to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA this summer and my camera survived being dunked way under the water and the pictures came out great! The case is very light and I was able to sling it across my body. All in all the best $30 I've spent in a long time. It will be perfect for my annual OBX trip next summer.

I bought an Olympus Stylus Tough 8000 this past July. It is water proof, shock proof, drop proof, freeze proof, etc. LOVE IT. It was $400 when I got it but is now down to around $300 on sale. It takes great underwater pics.

I got a lot of funny looks in September when I went to the top of the slide at Storm a long Bay, took some pictures, then put the strap around my wrist and went down the slide w/it!
