I'm still lugging my 35mm SLR with detachable flash that takes great pictures but is too bulky and big. We've tried a couple of different digital cameras. I wanted a very small one so DH did all the research and came up with a small Minolta that has high ratios and supposedly quick focus but I still have the same problems I've always experienced with digital cameras: 1) skin does not look real, 2) focus takes too long so there is a delay in when you want to take the pic and when the pic is actually taken and the moment is gone, and 3) not great with action shots - they tend to come out blurry. Kids + Disney = lots of skin, quick moments and action. Anyone have good experiences with digital cameras that actually work with these shots?
