Digital Camera Quetion on taking videos..

My mom uses the dis boards to help her with everything, lol =D, so i figured maybe i could get some help here. =]


I got a digital camera for christmas, and today i took a video and i could download it to the computer and everything perfectly, but when wnet to watch it, i relized it has no sound! =(

My camera is the next model of what my mom has, and hers has sound when you take a video. Is there a button i have to press or something?

I'm not familiar with the Finepics but I know that the Canon cameras download the video as as avi files. Avi files are a funny thing...if you don't have the "right" codec installed onto your computer, one of the things that can happen is that you don't get any sound. (Sometimes you don't even get a video!) You probably just need to find the right thing to install onto your computer and the sound will magically reappear. Check any software that was included with the camera.
