Digital Camera Question

I am thinking about buying a digital camera, but I need some help! I don't want anything complicated, nothing fancy...just a basic camera. I've narrowed my list down to three, I think, ...a Canon A40, a Nikon Coolpix 2000 and a Fuji 2650. All are 2.0 pixels, have 3x optical zoom and 2.5x digital zoom. They range in price from $200 (Fuji), $230 (Nikon) and $250 Canon. I will be using it for trips and holiday picture taking. Anyone here have any of these or something else that would be what I'm looking for? Thanks!

I'm a Nikon snob so I would suggest the Nikon but if you can bring yourself to spend a little more, I've heard that the Coolpix 2500 is worth it for the quality of the images.
