NancyIL, I got the P-400 at amazon.com for $350.00 last week. It might be hard to find the P-400 since they came out with the P-440, though.
Lanshark, I just bought 100 sheets of paper and the ink cartridges for $150.00. So that puts it at about $1.50 per sheet (keep in mind a sheet can print one 8x10 picture). Since I will mostly be printing 3x5's to put in a photo album, I figure I can print about 400 of these (4 per sheet). That makes it about 40 cents per picture. I'm sure I will occasionally print 5x7's for framing and maybe an 8x10 every now and then.
Word has spread throughout the family that I have this new printer, and several aunts had me print out pictures of my grandfather who passed away last year. They bought frames for the pictures and gave one framed picture to each grandkid. They came out great! I printed the same picture on our regular inkjet printer, and the quality from the Olympus printer is soooo much better. They are very professional looking.
