Digi Scrapping

I've decided it may be time for me to look into Digi Scrapping. I've always liked the craftiness of the "real" scrapbooking but lately I'm finding it's a pain to take all my pictures (that start out digitally anyway), pick which I want to scrap with, get them printed, and then work with them. I'm on the computer like 50% of my life anyway, might as well Digi Scrap right?

So here's my question, what are some of your favorite apps/sites to do digi scrapping with? Free or otherwise. What are the best ones for Disney specific scrapping?

I found a computer program at Marshall's of all places for digital scrapping. It is called Digital Scrapbook Artist and has great reviews on Amazon. I paid $24.99 at Marshall's and there is a $10 rebate on the box. I bought it for my teenage sister who loves the look of my traditionally scrapped pages, but finds it hard to do herself. She is always afraid she will "mess up". I figure this will be a great way for her to find her scrapping mojo and not be afraid of making mistakes.

There is a sticky at the top of the forum that has tons of digital kits for free and for sale. You might want to start getting materials form there.

There are lots of good programs. I started out with Photoshop Elements (way back in version 4, lol) because I already was using it for photo editing & projects. Then I got addicted to it & felt compelled to move up to full Photoshop. Both can be intimidating at first but there are plenty of sites devoted to working with PS/PSE.

Good luck! I found that once I started scrapping digitally, I pretty much gave up on paper scrapping except for hybrid projects. It was hard to go back & give up the digi advantage.

I use Creative Memories Storybook Creator Plus 3.0 and it's photo sorting/editing program Memory Manager. I love these programs. If you have any questions you can PM me and I can talk about them some more.
