Digi Scrappers - how about a DIS Speed Scrap?

Would anyone be interested in doing a DIS Digi Speed Scrap? It would have course be Disney theme.

For those who have never done one, the hostess or host would start a thread and every 10 minutes post the next instruction. At the end of the hour you will have been given 7 instructions. Then you would have another hour and 15 minutes to complete your layout and post it to the thread. Since we don't have a gallery on this site, at the end you would just have to post your layout to the gallery of your choice and link it to the thread.

Would anyone be interested in doing one?

I just participated in my first speed scrap the other night after getting the kids to bed - ended up only having the last hour to do the whole thiing. But it was fun. I'd definitely be up for it, provided I'm not otherwise busy of course.

Count me in for this one- I'm highly addicted to speed scraps and it's a great way to motivate me to get a page (especially a Disney related one) done!

I'd LOVE to do one. We could have it over at SM if we needed to use their gallery/chat/forums/etc. I could set that up for us!! Just let me know!!! That would be so fun.

Let's see, bedtime for the kids is supposed to be 7:30. So after 8:00 (central time) should work for me.

It seems that sometime in the evening is best for everyone. I only ask that it is not AFTER 10:00 pm Eastern, otherwise it will be too late for me to stay awake that long to coherently make a page. 9:00 Eastern would be perfect for me, but I understand there are those on Pacific time where that wouldn't work.

So - do we want to use SM's chat room? Do it here at the DIS? Where should we do it??

I've never used the SM chat room. I just not coordinated enough to chat and scrap at the same time. But I could give it a try if that's where it's going to happen.

A Disney related Chat sounds fun! I actually can't get the SM Chat room to work. I tried the other day and it was telling me to get Vista Chat or something. I actually already have Vista on my computer. So I'm not sure what the problem is!

I think having it here on the DIS board would be perfect for those who want to play along.

Maybe some traditional scrappers might be interested in it too (what a great way to win them over to Digi and introduce them to a speed scrap! Can you imagine a speed scrap in the paper world? Might be fun to intertwine teh 2! Just thinking outloud!

I agree that 9pm Eastern works best...but 9:30 is ok too. 10pm Eastern makes us finishing too late usually.
