We have spent a fair few days looking at WDW and plan to stay at the 'All stars' next year.

However TCD and some other agents do not have flights etc for a 3 week duration; we are hoping to keep within a realistic budget (Virgin flights are too steep this time.)
We are two adults and two sixteen year olds.
Are we a little too early? We have usually managed to book a year in advance. :Even Thomas Cook Signature have no 3 week durations at the time required.
Any help would be great. Angela :cool1:

Scheduled airlines usually only allow you to book flights 11 months in advance :( Charter Airlines may operate slightly differently as most tour operators allow you to book holidays well in advance of this :)

Have you tried phoning TCD?? I think you may have more luck than using their website which only seems to cater for 2 week vacations anyway. :confused3

Hope that helps.

I think other people have been unable to book 3 week holidays through the TCD website, but had some success through the phone line, as Alan says :)

I phoned TCD a couple of days ago for this very same thing and whilst they don't sell 3 week durations for their own airline they do book 3 weeks with others.

In January 2004 we were in Thomas Cook trying to book our 3 week holiday for December of that year but they said that there were no holidays left. I found that to be rather worrying but of course this was with their own brochures. Now, the girl I had was a star and basically trawled through every one of the companies on their computer to get me the holiday I wanted and eventually we had our holiday booked through United Vacations.

The worrying thing for me was that they try and sell their holidays first (which is understandable) but don't put the effort in to just find you a holiday full stop. It's almost like a "my way or the high way" situation.

Our holiday with United was for a stay of 21 nights in All Star Movies, 2 Adults and 2 Children, length of stay passes for Disney, 4 Park Flex Tickets for Universal, 21 days of car hire in a 4 door Intermediate and a stop over in Washington DC on the way back of 3 days for just over £4000.

Upon our return however and a bit more research we think we could have got it a bit cheaper but ce la vie!

www.flights2orlando.com have some good flight prices and I always find that booking direct with Disney itself is by far the cheapest way to book the accommodation because they don't charge for children under 17 even though all of our Travel Agents do!!

I would suggest booking the accommodation with Disney direct and just finding cheap flights, Easter is quite an expensive time of year but if you go the week before the Easter holidays then it is a bit cheaper.

Good luck!

:bounce: Thank you so much we have taken in all the information.Loving the planning stage. Angela. :bounce:
