differnet seasons?

I was working on putting together a trip for August and i noticed that the "seasons" were different. Value season is underway for the deluxe and home away from home resorts already. but mod's and values don't go to value seaon till LATE AUGUST - the 29th i think. I just found that interesting and was wondering why and also when codes come out for AP's and such will the deluxes be discounted deeply since it's "value season". And do you think they have trouble filling up the more expensive resorts late in the summer. I dunno just pondering.

Wish I could help you -- but I've always wondered the same thing. What makes value season different for different resorts?

My guess is that in the UK and Ireland schools don't go back till 1st September and UK visitors tend to visit the value and Mod resorts most.
