I'm not sure if I'm posting this on the right board but I thought I would give it a shot. I got an offer from Disney with a special code to get a room/ticket discount. So I called Disney this morning and asked for a quote. It was a good price, but I decided to contact my Disney TA to see if she could get me the same price because I wanted her to get credit for booking the vacation.
Our TA came back with a slightly higher price. So I decided to call Disney back one more time and got somebody different. I told the person the same exact info on travel dates, resort, park tickets, etc. She came back with a much lower offer! I was so excited and I asked if she was sure and she said yes. Then I made a big mistake and said "Well I just wanted to make sure because when I called earlier I got a little different price quote." She then put me hold and came back with yet again a new quote which was, of course, higher that what she had just quoted me! I am kind of upset at myself because I think if I would have kept my big mouth shut I could have gotten the better price, which was about $250 cheaper for the same thing!
So, can you tell a newbie on the disboards what to do. I asked them for a confirmation #, but I didn't put a deposit down. Do you think it's worth it to call back again? I would book the vacation in a minute if they could meet the "cheap" quote their CM gave me.
