Different Fantasmic Dining Package?

When I was at MGM in early May, as we went into Fantasmic, I saw a separately cordoned off area within the entrance to the ampitheater, with maybe 2 or 3 tables of diners, with full service, bar, etc.

Seemed like there's a separate Fantasmic dining package available where you actually eat at the ampitheater - anyone know anything about this? Thanks.

I know it's an option when you're booking your school performing group, to have an event at Fantasmic (although no full bar, of course ). It might also be a Grand Gathering thing.

I know that when we were planning our 10th anniversary vow renewal that a Fantasmic dining event was a possible add-on feature. This was done through the Fairy Tale Weddings Department.
We opted to do the Illuminations event with our guests so I don't recall the details as far as pricing, etc.

Yes, this definitely sounds like a private event. We had an Illuminations dessert party with our wedding guests, and Fantasmic was another option.
