So we are hoping to go to CRT for lunch and 1900 Park Fare for dinner and just wondering if I should be prepared for questions from my DD7 about why Cinderella looks different than she did at the previous restaurant?:rotfl2: There must be multiple "actresses",right?? I know it was the same Cindy the 2 times we went to CRT previously and that was a couple of years apart - did we just get lucky?

There are multiple cast members. I accidentally made our first dinner at 1900 PF (Cinderella) and the next morning we ate in the castle for breakfast. TOTALLY didn't even occur to me that the princesses we're "human" so could look different. :scared1: Well, she was too awe struck to notice. (our DD was 4 1/2 though) The Cinderella's looked different to me.....the Ariel's that were at CRT and Akershus could have been twins. ( same w/ Snow White). I really think they do an excellent job "casting" the princesses. :goodvibes

They all look INCREDIBLY similar. So similar, in fact, that Picasa's facial recognition option usually identifies all of them correctly. (Oddly, it has more difficulty distinguishing between Buzz and Woody!)

Disney does an incredible job of making every CM look exactly like their character.

DD5 has never even suspected that they're different.

I think you should be prepared. We did this in 2009 with my DD who was 7 1/2 at the time. We had dinner at 1900 PF and breakfast the next day at CRT. My dd asked the hostess why Cinderella's voice and eyes were different that day. lol

Yeah...my daughter is actually turning 8 a few weeks after our trip and she is VERY observant! She's at that age when she still WANTS to believe in Santa, the Easter bunny and all things Disney but her common sense is telling her there is something a little fishy going on. Oh well...they gotta grow up eventually!!:scared1::eek::scared1:

We saw Aurora one day in Epcot then a different one at CRT, and I honestly thought they could have been the same one.

We got Aurora's autograph in Epcot then the next morning at CRT, Aurora went to sign dd's book and I told her, "thanks Aurora, but we got your autograph yesterday". And to my surprise she said "that's right!!! And looked at dd and said, I almost didn't recognize you with your gown and tiara!!" we had just cone from BBB.

So, my advice, don't worry. They deal with this everyday :)

My best advice would be to ask Cinderella in front of your daughter if she remembered you from last night! That way... you are already ahead of her! :thumbsup2

The Ariels at CRT and Akershus looked crazy different and my (6yo) daughters didn't notice. I thought the Cindys at 1900PF and CRT looked very similar. The Belles between CRT and Akershus also looked pretty similar, plus they have different hair/dresses so it's less obvious anyway. The Snow Whites I would bet money were the same person at CRT and Akershus when we were there, so either it really was the same person or they just had some ridiculously good casting/makeup.

Like I said, the Ariels I thought looked absolutely nothing alike, but my daughters didn't bat an eye, plus as others have said, they deal with this all the time so they are used to picking up your cues and running with it. The first night at CRT while Ariel was talking to the girls, she said, "You two seem very familiar...have I met you before?" and looked over to me for validation. I subtly shook my head no and she segued into, "or maybe it's just because you have red hair so you seem like family!" Etc.

^This. We saw Snow White in Disneyland twice in one trip. The kids never noticed the difference and when Snow went to sign our Disney Jr. Encyclopedia (with the previous Snow's signature already on it) she totally played it off and the kids were none the wiser.
