Different charge accounts when sharing room?

When 2 different families are staying together in a DVC property (same room), can the front desk arrange for the families to have room key charging privileges assigned to different credit cards?

No, they set it up all under one account for the room. But the key cards are separately numbered. When you get a copy of the printout, they list the key card # next to each of the charges. The night before you check-out, ask for a printout and separate the charges. Have the other family go to the front desk and ask that their amount be charged to their credit card (or pay cash). That will reduce the balance and the rest will be yours. Be sure to do it the night before because during the night they process the charges to the credit card on file. Be sure not to go over the credit limit ($1,500 at DVC resorts) during the trip, otherwise they will make an interim charge. Also, any tickets you buy with the key card are immediately charged to the credit card on file.
