Different CC's on different room keys?

A couple years ago we brought friends along on our trip and hoped that they would be able to apply their own credit card to their room keys (we stayed in villa together). Even though people here said they were able to do it, unfortunately the CM at the front desk said we could not.

Has anyone been able to do that lately?

With the new computer system installed around the end of 2010, you can now have multiple cards.

Did it last week. A note though not all CM's are created equal. One could not figure out how to print out the charges and totals for each charge card separately (my moms charges vs dh and my charges) but a cm who came on later in the evening was able to do this for us. Make sure to set this up correctly at checkin.

1) Ain't that the truth !
2) If you get one that says "no", get another one.

NOTE: You have ALWAYS been able to do this, and, I mean
from the 70's. (The computer system was the Las Vegas hotel
and convention system, where they did this for conventioners
staying in the same room.) Now, the new system makes it a lot
easier for the CM to set up.
