will be renting ECV from third party for my Disney property stay trip

Does anyone know can I go on all the boats or are some to small

Example we like to go from springs to port Orleans for bingiets but if I remember it uses a smaller boat
And the boat from grand Flo to magic
And. Hollywood to Epcot

Thanks

The smallest boat of these would be the GF to MK one, and it cannot accommodate ECVs. You would have to take the monorail.

Hollywood to Epcot can take two ECVs per boat at one time. This is the same type of boat used within Epcot for transport between Morocco and Canada.

I have seen people in regular manual wheelchairs on the PO to DS boats, but I haven’t seen anyone attempt it with an ECV. There was an area up near the driver where they parked their chair. There is bus transport available to DS from the PO resorts.

The boats between Springs and the resorts (OKW, SS, Riverside and PO) all accommodate two ECVs. There are (or were, anything may have changed) two types of boats that make the MK, GF, Poly loop. The smaller one cannot accommodate an ECV, but the larger one does.

As @Fangorn mentioned these days the GF-Poly-MK loop usually has two boats running - the smaller launch boats that can’t take ECVs, and the larger ones that do. Occasionally during refueling or off times you might see just one or the other running, but that’s usually temporary.

Unless battery is an issue you can also take the GF to MK path if inclined.

The Disney Springs area (Sassagoula River) boats are all pontoon boats:

They can take wheelchair/ECVs - up to two with roll-on ramps and designated spaces behind the captain with fold up chairs.

The Bay Lake area (MK and related resorts) use these larger boats which have enclosed spaces and outside seating back and front and can accommodate all types of wheelchair or ECV:

The MK resorts are occasionally serviced by the smaller canopy boats - often you'll find these on the Poly/GF run, and the Fort Wilderness run:

These cannot accommodate wheelchairs or ECVs - they have no space for roll-on, no ramps, only stairs inside the boat, and very narrow aisles. Some resorts may be serviced by both the larger and the smaller boats - depending on time of day and crowds.

The boats that go from Hollywood studios to Epcot (FriendShip), and stop at Swan & Dolphin, Beach & Yacht, and Boardwalk, are large mostly inside-seating boats with ample roll-on space for ECVs and wheelchairs:

These are also the same types used inside Epcot's World Showcase lagoon.

And of course the ferries between MK and T&T center are huge and can accommodate plenty of ECVs and wheelchairs:

So you're fine with all but the small canopy boats around the Bay Lake area. I'd definitely ask personnel at the dock what type of boat is being used if you're unsure and they can let you know if the canopy boats are the only ones available - so you could switch to a bus or monorail if needed.
