Different 2 BRs at BWV?

I think I read on here a while ago that there are two different types of 2BRs at Boardwalk, one that has a queen bed and sofa bed in the second room, and one that has two queen beds. Can anyone confirm that this is true? Also, amd I allowed to "request" the one with 2 queen beds?

TIA :cool1:

No, sorry. There are no 2 bedroom units at the BWV that have two queen beds in the second bedroom.

All of the 2 bedroom units at the BWV are "lock offs". That means they are made up of a studio and a 1 bedroom (with an inside connecting door). The studios contain one queen bed and one sleep sofa (double size).

Could you be thinking of the BCV? or the VWL? Those have some 2 bedrooms with two queen beds in the second bedroom.

Some of the 2 bedroom units at the BCV have one queen bed and a queen-sized sleep sofa in the second bedroom. The units with the two queen beds in the second bedroom are a separate booking category. If you want one of those, you need to reserve one. They are quite popular and go quickly.

All of the 2 bedrooms at OKW have two queens in the second bedroom and IIRC, all of the dedicated 2 bedroom units at SSR also have two queens in the second bedroom.

Best wishes -

The difference in the 2Br units is that one is a dedicated 2Br (the one with the two beds in the second bedroom) and one is a "lock-off" (the one with the single bed and sleep sofa).

Some people prefer the lock-off units since it gives them individual control over the temp's in the 2nd Br (great if some of the party is more sensitive to cold than others) & a second toaster and coffee pot (great to speed up the breakfast production).

BWV has no dedicated 2 bedrooms.

Ok, thanks for the info!

...another question. We're going over New Year's and I have a studio booked for 12/31, a 1 BR for 1/1, and a 2 BR 1/2 and 1/3. Will they be able to link the reservations so that my studio on 12/31 and my 1 BR on 1/1 are the rooms that make up my lockoff on 1/2 and 1/3...just so that moving luggage is as easy as possible.

Unlikely. I'd say about the best you could do would be to have the same 1 BR for 1/1 and open up to the 2 BR for the last 2 nights. But given the number of dedicated studios and 1 BR units there, I'd say it's very likely you'll have to move AND check out then in again twice.

While what you are trying to do with minimum moves might be possible other times, it is VERY doubtful it will happen on the busiest night of the year.
