I admit it, I am a quicken addict. Today I received a special offer in my email for Quicken 2010. I have 2009 and probably dont need the upgrade but I would like to know if there are any changes to 2010 that might be worth spending the $30.

Here is what is new: http://quicken.intuit.com/personal-finance-software/deluxe-money-management.jsp#tab-2

2010 added support for Microsoft Money importing (for large transactions) which was needed to support all the new users coming from Money once it was discontinued. I'm a new user with 2010, but the changes from 2009 seem to be pretty minor. My favorite claim is that it is now lets you check accuracy. What the heck did the old version do? Randomly make changes without telling you? Change a 1 to a 5 just for the heck of it?

my only prob with quicken 2009 is on the calendar when I show all my accounts it doesnt track savings well. If I have a weekly transfer to savings it shows a negative balance in the account I have transferred to. Not sure if this is a quicken problem or just my own stupidity but I cant figure out how to fix it. Would like to keep track of multiple accounts from the calendar and have each balance reflected accurately.
