Differences between Avis and Alamo?

We always have rented through Alamo-love the going right to the car option at MCO. Does Avis have that option as well, that we can skip the counter? I'm assuming I would need to enroll into their program, which is fine. Also, Avis pay now prices are almost $200 cheaper. Does anyone know the guidelines if you pay now as far as getting the $ back if you want to change or cancel? Never have done the pre paid option, but with rental prices so crazy this year, looking at all the options.
Thanks!

Pay now rentals are usually non-refundable. Depends on the company. Check the details. I've rented from both with no issues. We always make sure we photograph the care before we leave the facility and when we return it. Go to the Avis web site to see about skipping the counter. The first time we tired doing this with Budget we still had to go to the counter because it was our first time doing so with Budget.

ok thanks for the info! I'm also going to see what UT has. We still have to purchase our Disney tickets, I've heard they might have some deals as well. Thank you!

Also use autoslash they email rates from everyone.
I have an alert set up so if prices change it tells me.

If you haven't rented from them or another one of the companies under their corporate umbrella before you probably will still have to go to the counter the first time to have them verify your license and credit card.
