Hi everyone,
I used this website constantly when I planned our trip in 2005. We are hoping to return at the end of this year. My question is this: what has changed since 2005? I don't necessarily mean attraction wise, but more planning wise. I'd especially be interested in differences with the dining plan, restaurants, and anything related to planning our trip. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Online resort checkin.

Online ADRs.

TSM, Expedition Everest.

New restaurant at the Boardwalk. Yak & Yeti at Animal Kindgom? T-Rex new, PI gone at DD.

Fantasmic is only 2-3 times a week.

More tiers on the dining plan.

Need a little help here...

Alot has changed and many things have stayed the same....
I would suggest just read ALOT and ask specific questions on the boards
that are specific to your topic... the resort board or the restaurant board
or the theme park board ...You get the idea :thumbsup2

No matter what has changed it's still Disney so have a Great trip:)

Hi Kelly, Welcome back!

With the dining plan, you no longer get appetizers and tips are not included! HTH! :goodvibes

The Living Seas got an overhaul with a Nemo and Friends theme as well as a new show called Turtle Talk with Crush.

Tarzan Rocks is gone from AK while Finding Nemo: The Musical has been added.

Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor and Stitch's Great Escape are now open at MK.

American Idol Experience and High School Musical show are new at Disney Hollywood Studios (which used to be called MGM Studios).

Pixie Hollow replaced the meet 'n greet for Mickey's Friends in Toontown at MK. (They now roam around Main Street USA.)

Magical Express is nw offered to get you to WDW from the airport.

The Kim Posible Adventure has been added to Epcot's WS.

I believe the value resort POP Century wasn't around in 2005 but I could be mistaken

The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Carribean and Hall of Presidents at MK have been majorly refurbed.

O Canada at Epcot got a new film.

The multi-day park tickets now expire unless you pay for the no-expiration option. You have to pay extra to parkhop too.

There are 2 new Segway tours.

There's a new restaurant called The Wave in the Contemporary,

Animal Kingdom Lodege got both a DVC section and a new restaurant.

And, at least for now, guests can no longer ride up front with the monorail pilot.

Other than what's upthread, that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
