Difference between Villa or Locked off Villa

What is any is the difference between the two Villas? Is one more preferable than the other?

A lock off is a one bedroom and studio combined that can be locked in the middle. A Studio has one bed and a sleeper sofa. The one bedroom has a real bedroom, the kitchen, and a sofa that pulls out into a sleeper.

A 2 bedroom is just that, a true 2 bedroom. Depending on you're travel party one might be preferred over the other. When traveling with 2 families, a lock off is nice because you get that element of privacy and the kitchenette.

This year we opted for a dedicated 2 bedroom so no one has to sleep on a sleeper sofa. We'll have one master bedroom, a bedroom with two queen beds, and a full kitchen. Plus the living area where the sofa will remain a sofa.

A lockoff will result in two separate entrances into the two bedroom villa. There will be two different telephone numbers for the one bedroom portion and the studio portion. There will be separate AC controls for the two portions. But if you get the lockoff two bedroom, both doors will be keyed the same unless you ask for them to be different.

We requested a lockoff two bedroom unit for one trip because we had friends joining us about three or four days after we arrived and we just needed the one bedroom for the first few days and changed to a two bedroom villa for the last days of our stay when our friends arrived.

But if you reserve a two bedroom lockoff, you can't just drop the studio portion or one bedroom portion if you lose part of your group and don't want the full two bedroom. You have to cancel and rebook as a studio or one bedroom.
