Difference between Standard and Garden Wing Rooms at the CR?

Trying to decide where to stay for 4 nights in October for our 1st MNSSHP. What's the difference in these rooms? Which would be closer to the main building? Location is more important than view.

The standard wing is the view of the parking lot and the garden wing is the view of the hotel grounds and maybe the lake.

Opposite sides. The distance between the farthest wing room and the Tower is trivial: about a two minute walk.
