difference between Preferred site and Full hookup site?

Location, location, location. Closer to the marina, restaurant and store.

The only difference is location. For me the Full Hookups where just a long ways away from the dog park. With an active Aussie, it was a lot of work to get down there to run her.

We enjoy the 300 loop which is preferred. Good location for getting to stuff and close to the dog park and dog walk along the canal is great.

To me the biggest difference is site size. Since I have only stayed on the "Premium" sites, I have no comparison other than a view from a distance.

My thought for the future is cost and how much time you stay on site? Since I support and use the bus system, I guess that I don't really have a location issue.

So, is site size worth the extra cost?

Preferred and full hookup are pretty much identical in size. Only premium sites are clearly larger.

Is is about location, of course. We like the Full Hookup sites - a bit quieter and the 1800 loop has a walkway to a canal which is nice for on leash dog walking. Now that most external buses pick up at the outpost it's a nice bike ride to get there from Full. We've never had a problem getting our 38' motorhome in a site there, but all loops have sites that are a bit more difficult to negotiate than others.

Thanks for your replies and based on your responses I think we will be keeping our full hookup site.

The full-hook-up sites may be larger. We have found some of the sites in the preferred loops to be a bit snug for our three slides.
