Difference Between cat. 09D and 09C stateroom

I am currently booked for a catergory 9D stateroom on the Dream in Nov but I looked online and the picture on the DCL website shows a slanted room, which I do not want to be staying in.

What's the difference between a 09D and a 09C stateroom? Should I call my TA and ask her to switch me to a 09C thank you!!

You can google deck maps & see where on the ship each cat is located. Hope this helps

09D and 09C are on the front of the ship and all should have at least a slight lean to the outside wall, some more than others. For a vertical wall, 09B on Deck 2 are great, or the 09A are on 5,6,7,8 on the sides of the ship.

We had a 9B last year on the Dream and we loved the room and location. It's roomy, and we loved the big window, which I could sit in (not as large as those higher on the sides of the ship though).

We're only doing 9D this time around so we can be near family in a HA room. I'm not apprehensive about the room because I think we'll have plenty of natural light and a little more room to host family members if anyone wants to visit.

The forward corner 9D's are HUGE and awesome...if you like that sort of thing.!!!! We have stayed in 8504 and 8006 and LOVED these rooms but everyone is different.
