Difference between Boma & Tusker House

Looking for someplace new to try for Thanksgiving dinner. I currently have a Tusker House lunch reservation. We also have Boma dinner booked earlier in the week. I'm wondering how different the food is? We've eaten at Boma before but only at Tusker House for breakfast. Don't want to eat at both if the foods are similar.

I have eaten at Tusker House for lunch and Boma for dinner. Both were good and I don't recall many dishes being similar. Overall, I would say that Tusker House felt like it had more items but the quality at Boma was better.

We like both, but over the past year or so we think TH may be the better choice. As a venue, Boma is a huge cavernous room, while TH seems less chaotic.

I agree with this. I'd probably go for TH. Also TH is so much easier to get to than Boma.

We had a fantastic thanksgiving day meal at Sanaa at the AKL a few years back combining traditional foods with modern twist plus the bread service and seeing the animals outside cant be beat if you ask me.

Thanks for all the replies. Still on the fence. My DS17 requested to eat at Boma (which we've always enjoyed in the past). I'll hold on to Tusker and maybe something else will open for Thanksgiving day. I'd like to try biergarten or cape may. Both have traditional thanksgiving offerings (which is a must for DH). We've never eaten at either of those so it would be nice to try something new. Or I could hope a Boma opens for Thanksgiving...

I should add that my remarks are based on the regular menus at TH & Boma. Not sure about what a traditional Thanksgiving meal would be like. I agree with dvc cruiser that Sanaa (and Jiko) are going to be a notch or two about either TH or Boma (again, based on the regular menus.)
