Hi there! :)

A deluxe savannah view is bigger than the regular savannah view room. The regular savannah view is 340 square feet or so, and the deluxe rooms are 380 square feet or so. So really, it comes down to whether or not the 40 square feet is worth the extra money per night. My fiancée actually had booked the Animal Kingdom Lodge for our honeymoon, but we switched to a different resort. Anyway, we had booked a deluxe savannah view because the extra room was worth the money to us! :)

As for the concierge, I'm not too sure about it. I've never stayed concierge, so I can't really give you any advice about it. I can tell you that if you're not familiar with Disney concierge, you get one of the deluxe size rooms, and you have access to snack-type foods all day. They have breakfast items in the morning, snack type items in the afternoon, and I believe hot hors d'oeuvres in the evening. There is a special lounge just for concierge guests, and concierge guests don't have to wait to check in at the front desk. Concierge guests also have access to the concierge, who will make priority seating arrangements, and a whole other slew of things. Once again, whether or not you should stay there is all a matter of personal taste. Are those services worth the extra money you'll have to pay?

Good luck in making your decision. You'll have a GREAT time no matter what you choose!

Dan,

Thanks!!!!!! I'm in a wheelchair so the bigger the better! I'm sure they have HC rooms.

We had to get a deluxe room because we are a family of five, and most deluxes have a daybed. the deluxe rooms are on the top 2 levels, and in some rooms the tree tops partially obscure the view. We could see just below our room, but saw more animals from windows in the hallways than from our balcony.

Hi,

Well there will be only 2 of us going so maybe deluxe isn't the way to go. Thanks!!

I don't have the phone number on this computer, but there is a department called "WDW Resort Special Reservations" that is very helpful for answering questions/reserving wheelchair accessible rooms.
If you arre using DVC points, MS does their own special needs reservations without going thru that department. I'm sure Special Needs would answer your questions for you though.
I'll try to find the number on a post from the disABILITIES Board and add it here.

Sue,

Thanks!!!!!!
