We are going 8/31-9/5, I have TP and have looked at easy wdw predictions. Sept schedule is not out but I'm trying to plan ADRs. I don't think I can wait til the end of the trip to go to MK, when its a 2. Sunday it's a 4, if I do rope drop, and could go to another park pm, would I be ok? I think CM and MK is perfect full day start to vacation. Also Labor Day the predictions seem low for all the parks..are they really not busy on a holiday?

There starting the 3rd at like midnight so were luck enough not to have to worry. When on touring plans you can review what the difference of level 2 and 4 is. They talk about stand by waits and things like that.

Labor Day weekend isn't terribly busy. Alot of locals or people close enough to drive in for a long weekend.

I don't think there is much difference between a 2 and a 4, but remember it is a holiday weekend and MK will be crowded. If I remember correctly, the Sunday before labor Day MK is Josh's most or only non recommended park.

You might find MK at a 7/10, with HS a 5/10, Epcot 2/10 and AK a 2/10.

If you hit it at rope drop and got out of there around lunch, you shouldn't expect any extreme waits. If you did that, make sure to make your FP+ for the park you hop to in the afternoon so regardless of how busy it is, you'll know you have three attractions of your choice with reduced wait.

Well a 2 is SUPER-light crowds. A 4 is still pretty light. I think you'll have a good time with either. I travel around october all the time when it's 4-5, and I do not consider it at all crowded. The headliners might get busy in mid-afternoon (especially at Epcot and DHS), but really, they're not horrible. Use FP+ for the parks you don't Rope Drop.

Pay attention to the Recommended parks as well, as even if the whole of WDW is a 4, if MK is a non-recommended park it may feel VERY busy, but conversely the other parks will be dead.

If you look at easywdw there are the cheat sheets that have average wait times for each park at different crowd levels. I found this the easiest way to wrap my brain around the difference.

I am glad you asked, I was wondering the same thing. We went last year (first trip) in September and it was level 2's. This year we are going in October and it looks like it should be 4's (we only go to parks M-F, which is a help I think).

While this is a good tool, it is important to remember that not all parks will have the same crowds on each day. A 4/10 will rarely be a 4/10 at each park. Two days the same week can have 4's, but if you MK on a recommended day it might have a standby of 35 minutes for Space when a non-recommended day might have 65.
