Diez (10) Noches Calientes en la Riviera Mexicana/17 de abril 2011 (4.17.11 Wonder!)

The bands are great, I'll get onto PayPal and get it moving. My husband kinda ruined it for me, though. I showed him our site and graphics and now the wristbands and his response was, "shouldn't it be 9 hot nights in Mexico? We cruise for 9 nights and 10 days." Ugh. He's right, but it still wasn't the reaction I was hoping for. :guilty:

Virdis, can't believe you took the time to find all those rooms... I would do the exact same thing but am superstitious and felt I'd be jinxing myself. I'm better off hoping for nothing/expecting the absolute, rock bottom WORST then being eternally grateful to God and those that made things actually BETTER!!! This cruise is high up there on the grateful list... lemme tell ya!! And so are you DISers!!!:worship:

Yeah...I thought about what if they check the logs but, I don't think they check to see who is checking. As a systems engineer, I know only look at log files when something goes wrong. Fortunately, I am not tooo superstitious (salt over my shoulder).

We too are very grateful for this cruise. I was very much against it at first but Ann-Marie eventually wore me down to book it. Thanks honey.

Virdis, you got my heart racing after reading your posts about all the available Veranda rooms. So there's a chance they'll let me out of the dungeon? Although I have some great neighbors down there. We might just have to have our own party on deck 2.

Its not so bad on deck 2. We had room their as well as on deck 1 before we moved up to deck 7. Actually, I wanted our room on deck 1 (with the two portholes) because deck 1 is supposedly quiet most of the time. I also heard on the disboards that it is the deck you board returning from excursions. While the rest of us are waiting for elevators, you are already in your room. :)

The reason for our final move to the 7th deck was do to a mistake I made. I am sure Ann-Marie is going to love telling that story ;)

Okay, I just got home from the gym and really need to hop in the shower before picking up Isabelle and friend from school (early release day) but I am so excited I needed to stop and share.

The wrist bands arrived today and they are so cute :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Krisit....this look GREAT!!!! Ann-Marie will sync up on payment. Thank you soooooo much.

Actually, he is wrong. You can have the joy in telling him (oh...I just love it when Ann-Marie points out things when I am wrong).

April 17th (night 1)
April 18th (night 2)
April 19th (night 3)
April 20th (night 4)
April 21st (night 5)
April 22nd (night 6)
April 23rd (night 7)
April 24th (night 8)
April 25th (night 9

April 27th (get off boat)

Just be gentle with him. Us guys got to have some pride :lmao:

Did I read these correctly? There will be opportunities to sign up to attend beer/tequila tastings. When and where are these happening? As a newbie to DCL this completely blows my image of sailing on a Disney boat. I know that getting beer and anything harder is virtually impossible at Disneyland (club 33 the exception). Virdis and I haven't done any social drinking out together since the kiddos were born. The idea of sharing a drink with Virdis and other adults sounds wonderful. :flower1:I can't wait.

Oh yes you did Ann-Marie!!!! I can tell you when I sat down for the martini tasting I was quite aware of who I was and by the time we were done...well, good thing the kids were happily in the clubs because I was sure I'd lost my mind into those glasses! I think the cost is $15 per event...they're super fun.

YES! Lisa and Virdis 10 hot nights!! :cheer2:
I'll be gentle, Virdis lol. I should have second guessed him like I usually do, that is my job as a wife, how could I have slacked on this one?:confused: U guys are the best support group!

Ummm, clearly you were not entertained enough on that voyage because I don't recall you reading much on the PC and I know for a fact we'll keep you way too busy to read on this one either (you know...martini tastings, wine tastings...) need I say more.

:drinking1 what are you saying?! :drinking1:thumbsup2

did all 4 of us do that one?! I can't remember:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I really enjoyed doing most of the tastings...they didn't have any of the dream for the maiden voyage :confused3 so we saved all that money for this cruise! :thumbsup2

The wrist bands arrived today and they are so cute :cool1::cool1::cool1:QUOTE]

Love the wristbands, thank you Kristi, I think that my sister has paypal so I probably will pay through her.

Looking forward to the tastings that would be a good DIS get together.

Boo, can't get the quote to work right.

I have 200 bands, so there are plenty of extras for those who did not order initially. They come in Adult & youth.

Payment

They are $1 a band. You can pay me via paypal kh at kristihoward.com (no spaces and the @ sign of course--make sure you put that it is a personal transaction for payment owed, so I do not get charged a fee)

Or you can mail me money, just PM me for my address, or you can give me cash on the ship. Any way I am fine.

I calculated the shipping with my postal scale if you would like me to mail them to you. .85 cents for shipping. If you want them shipped, add the .85cents to your total and get me your address.

Or I can get you your bands at the port or on the ship.

Super excited. These came so fast. Now I have to make a short video to get $10 reimbursed.

Kristi, they are AWESOME :yay:
James now wants one - I bet Lachlan will too , so please increase my order to 2 a and 3 y. I will give you the money when we meet up at the port.

Thanks again for organizing them, I'm sure it's a lot or work.

:goodvibes

I would join you guys, but I don't drink beer, tequila, or martinis. Now if they had a foo-foo fruity drink or dessert tastings, I would be all over it.

Kel, you almost gave me a heart attack. I was totally stressing that I was going to spell something wrong, I kept rereading it over and over before I submitted the order. I did not want to screw up 200 wrist bands. Now that I see it, I probably should have had a comma after Disney Wonder and before the date. Oh well. At least I spelled everything correctly. I has also wanted a mickey head with a sombrero, but I could not find a good one and time was ticking away.

Got it. If I have an extra adult, I will switch that out for Lachlan. The youths are smaller than I thought. I can wear it, but I need to stretch it to get around my hand. Once on it is fine.

Thanks Kristi ;) Well that's great they're small - will work out well for all the little ones.

sandy, i think you have to be in the same group at the same time in order to share a cd. But we're going at 8:45 am too and would defiinitely be interested in sharing one with you.

thanks, that's what i was thinking. We'll have a few days to get this straighten out before we get to cabo.

i guess there's no way to find out when these are in advance, is there? :confused3 i'm just seeing a great opportunity for a fun dis meet on board!

You know...i just wonder if we could get one with just the dis group? I would really like to do the beer & tequila ones...just sounds like we'll get a lot of important info at them. :rolleyes1

Well you know a margarita can be considered a foo-foo drink...:goodvibes

pheeeww!

Kel, you almost gave me a heart attack. I was totally stressing that I was going to spell something wrong...

The bands are perfect! No corrections needed. I'm the same way with things like that, like I felt when I ordered my FE, "did I spell it wrong???" U ROCK :woohoo:

Virdis,

How do you find what rooms are still available on the DCL website for our cruise? I'd like to take a look for "future" prospective cruises.

Thank you,
Deserie

What types of drinks are the Drinks of the Day? :stir: Do they serve them all day?:drinking1

They are usually a mixed "foo foo" drink and yes they are sold all day at a lower price. I usually have at least 1 of those a day just to try them.

Kristi, these bands are so great!!! You are awesome -- thank you for putting them all together! :worship:

I'm actually feeling a little bad for everyone else on the cruise who won't have one! :sad1: I know they're going to be looking at our wrist bands enviously throughout the trip, and saying, "Look! There goes another one!"
