Here is the main website:
http://www.bodyforlife.com/
And although the site is down right now, here is a great website that has pictures of those who have done or are doing the program, in addition to a great supportive bulletin board with lots of advice and tips for newbies:

Try back in a few days to see if it's up and running. I'm on there as ICU_RN.
And you can find the books here:

And here is the journal that I used for my first challenge. It was VERY helpful with the meal planning and workouts:

He also has a great cookbook out that takes a lot of guesswork out of the equation. My family LOVES the Turkey Meatloaf, the Asian Beef Stir Fry, and the Mom's Chicken Enchiladas. The cheesecake and pumpkin cheesecake are pretty good. Actually, most of the recipes in there are terrific and family friendly.

Here is a blog done by a woman who's been doing Body For Life for years. She's quite funny (if you "get" her sense of humor) and she's got great advice. One day, sit down and peruse through her site.

And finally, here is bulletin board that is also helpful. There are also lots of before and after photos of women who have done the program:

I think one of the reasons I love this program is that you get to eat 6 times a day...

And on the 7th day of the week, you get to eat WHATEVER you want. It's called Free Day and it's what keeps me from gorging myself throughout the week. I save that day for a family night out to our favorite restaurant or to have a soda and pizza....
If you have any other questions, feel free to email me. My email is
melaniemiller2002@yahoo.com. I am no stranger to the gym and have been lifting weights and working out since I was about 14. I was on United States Diving most of my teen years and kept in really good shape. However, once I was out of high school, got injured and had to stop diving, I didn't have much motivation. I still went to the gym but wasn't getting the results I wanted. I started the program and couldn't believe how much smaller I got. The clothing size was the biggest change. I lost about 8% bodyfat....that's one of the great things about the program. It's not about the scale so much, but about the actual change in bodyfat and muscle mass. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn just sitting around. More calories burned, more food you get to eat!!!
