Diet Week 4

Well, how is everybody doing on their diets? Are you still sticking with it, or do you need to start over again?
I didn't do too well this past weekend. My wife had her birthday on Sat. and then my daughter had a birthday on Monday. I had a piece of cake everday from Sat. to Tues. (the cake is finally gone, so no more temptation). BUT, I did start back up on my walking this week (kind of felt guilty about eating the cake). So now that the cake is gone, I am still walking almost an hour a day.
I am also glad to say that I haven't had a single soda in four weeks, and only once a handfull of peanuts. I still haven't dropped a whole lot of weight, but that's not really my main goal. I really want to get my blood sugar levels under control (although I won't be too upset to drop about 10 - 15 pounds).
The only problem is that my B-day is coming up in a few days, and I know that my wife will make me another cake. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to walk a little further each day for a week or so.

So how are the rest of my DIS friends doing on their diets?
