Diet thread (what did you eat?) 3/14

We have a daily exercise thread, why not a daily diet thread? Did you eat healthy today? I'm going to admit that I am not on an organized diet, I pretty much eat what I want, but I am trying to limit portion sizes and add more healthy selections throughout my day.

I had:

Breakfast
4oz. orange juice
1/2 English muffin w/tbs. of strawberry spread
12oz. French Vanilla coffee

Morning Snack
anjou pear
5 peanut M&M's

Lunch
Romaine salad mix with carrots (loosely filled 3 cup container), cheddar cheese, grilled chicken strips, 1 tbs. Kraft FREE Honey Dijon dressing
16oz. water

Afternoon Snack
2 hard-boiled (red-beet) eggs
12 peanut M&M's

Dinner
2 Fish fillets (not as healthy as I thought after reading the package) , mac & cheese, green beans
12 oz Snapple raspberry tea

Evening Snack
I splurged on a chocolate eclair bar
 
For me:

Breakfast-
Smoothie
1 cupt plain nonfat yogurt (2 points)
1 cup mixed fruit & berries (1 point)
1 banana (2 points)

Snack -
baby carrots (0 points)

Lunch-
snack lunch - no time to put together a real lunch
8 woven wheat crackers (2 points)
1 oz low fat swiss lorraine (2 points)
1 cup fruit (1 point)
Kashi Granola bar (2.5 points)

Snack-
banana or grapes (2 or 1 point)

Dinner-
mini turkey meat loaf (10 points)
1 cup mashed potatoes (my version - no butter) (2 points)

I didn't plan on having the cup of fruit for lunch, so It seems like I have a lot of fruit this morning. There was a bowl of fresh fruit left over from a meeting so I had some for lunch.
 
Breakfast:
1c. Cheerios
1/2 c. Fat Free Milk
1c. OJ

Lunch:
Healthy Choice Country Veggie Soup
Ham & Cheese Sandwich on Light Wheat Bread w/ Mustard, Lettuce, Tomato
1 c. Fat Free Milk

Dinner:
Hamburger on French Bread
Cauliflower
Fat Free Milk

(Following WW Flex Plan, My First Week!!)
 
I've kept a person journal on this in the past:

Breakfast;
coffee with splenda
toast with spread

Lunch:
2 slices multigrain bread
with peanutbutter and jelly
oatmeal cookie

Afternoon:
2 hard candies

Dinner:
3 oz meat loaf
green beans
salad w/ dressing
slice whole wheat bread w/ spread
yogurt(for dessert)

water, water and more water and later a cup of hot tea before bed
 

Let me write it all down..it's been a weird day..

The first two meals were easy...

Breakfast-slimfast
Lunch-slimfast
Snack-two homemade chocolate chip cookies...rewarded my self after a horrendously stressful weekend and got some good news so I broke down and did it....but I stopped at TWO!!! :) And I didn't eat any dough when I made them so that was huge.
Dinner-salad consisting of two types of lettuce, green olives no pimento, one carrot stick, 5 pepperoni slices, deli ham, 1 slice bacon, 1 boiled egg and ranch dressing..just a smidge, and cheddar cheese.

Here's where I've really goofed...no water today!!! I was on the go most the day and when I came home I had to have a diet coke for the caffeine kick...and after eating all that lettuce I really don't want water..but I will make myself eat it!!!

I need more variety..love reading other's posts!

Today was not a normal eating day. Spent morning at clients and afternoon & early evening driving to Long Island from CNY

Breakfast - oatmeal w/tablespoon of real maple syrup (one of our clients makes it)
Lunch - 2 pieces of mushroom pizza, diet pepsi
Snack - handful of cashews and vending machine bag of reeses pieces
Supper - turkey on spinach wrap w/lwttuce & cheese (no condiments), diet coke

Water - 36 oz.:guilty::guilty:
 
B- oatmeal, 2T raisins, 1T walnuts, 1T br sugar, milk, coffee
S- French Twist (ww1pt) tea
L- ww Taco soup, orange
S- tea, yogurt
D- ww Taco soup, 1/2c rice, ww beefy beans

Boy I am feelin full tonite. Stayed w ww pts and had all that food. Just need to gulp down 16z more water. I love my oatmeal brk, it is so soothing and holds me over till my 1:30 lunch. :wave2:
 
I graze - so I don't have a B,L, & D per se.

Low Carb Advantage Edge Chocolate Drink (100 cal)
Large Snack Box Raisins
Banana
Entire can of Campbells Low Carb Soup
Apple
Fat Free Yogurt

Now, I haven't had dinner or dessert.but I will be having:

Chicken breast on salad greens w/ tomato & a lite salad dressing
Grean Beans or Broccoli
10 almonds
2 sugar free creamsicles

and water,water,water,water,water!!!!!

whoops! just noticed this thread was for 3/14 ....this is my 3/15 stuff!
 
B- lt. engl. muffin, 1T marmalade, 2T lt. cream cheese, tea
S- coffee, 1 French twist
L- ww taco soup, banana
S- tea, 2oz. Boars Head Ham (only 1pt.), 15 cat cookies (small chocolate cookies at 2pts for 15!)
D- ww taco soup, 1/2c rice, orange, wine
S- ww fudge bar
Again, still need to drink more water. I also need to change the pm reg. tea to green tea to cut out the caffeine.
