Hi
We are travelling by car (1.7 diesel) to Eurodisney at the beginning of July and I was wondering if anyone can give me an indication of how much they have spent on diesel (or petrol) when travelling to Eurodisney. We are travelling from Glasgow in Scotland.

Thanks

Can't speak about going from Scotland. Diesel is cheaper in France. We go from Kent & can get there & back on a tank, just top it up again before coming back to England.

My parents went to Calais last week & said it was roughly £1.14/litre over there compared to £1.40/litre here! They do have a credit card that gives them a business rate but without that it will still be roughly 20pence/litre cheaper. Don't buy on the motorways as it will be dearer. Their is an Auchan supermarket 5 minutes from Disney which is reasonable

Also another thing to consider is the type of car, if its a 4x4 then it will use more fuel but as most of the route is motorway the fuel consumption should be better regardless of car:thumbsup2

Looking on the fuel cost calculator on google maps its coming up at roughly £140 each way

Hi,

Wow... Thats a LONG drive..

Assuming £140 fuel each way, cost of Tunnel/Ferry Crossing, Road Tolls, Food while travelling (as its got to be 10-12 hours total?) it fairly racks up the cost (let alone the drain on the driver).

Easyjet fly from Glasgow to CDG - so with baggage you are maybe on £68 per person return. I'd have thought you could probably fly to CDG and transfer/shuttle to Disney for cheaper - assuming you are a party of say 4 or less?

I say that - if I felt We could drive it, then the ease of just packing up a car and going as and when does really appeal! :D

They're due to leave in July, and I know from when I was pricing up for July a couple of weeks ago, Newcastle - CDG is around £150PP! so I imagine most airports will be around the same prices atm

Ah yes - just assumed it would be further away than that (guilty look of someone who started posting on here for his May 2011 holiday back in 2010)

Midweek to Midweek in July would be around £80 per person easyjet glasgow by the looks, double that if you are doing a weekend arrival/departure.

Big Group / Small Group though?
