Die Cut Central = snail speed shipping?!

Anyone else have snail paced shipping from DieCutCentral? I know I ordered at a busy time, I get that it will take longer. (I ordered during the 50% off sale.) However, I received shipping confirmation from DCC, but the package was not actually picked up by UPS until 4 days later! IMO, the "your order has shipped!" email should not go out until UPS has been involved. This is my first order from their site, is this typical for them?

I ordered at the same time and got the same problem with shipping. I was excited when I got the "your order has shipped" on 5/24 and it said estimated delivery was 5/28. Then, when I checked tracking on 5/28, I find that it had only just been picked up by UPS on 5/27 and the new estimated delivery was 6/3!!!! :headache: I'm not overly thrilled either! This is my first order with them too.
 
I ordered on Fri 5/21 in the morning, had a shipping confirmation that afternoon. It arrived on Wed 5/26.

This is my 3rd time ordering. As I also did the 50% off deal. The first two times were with carts and I did have to pay for shipping. I know I got a shipping notice but have not checked, but it has been over a week. The first two times I had mine in 3 days. I think since I paid for the shipping it was sent priority. I am really happy with this company and will continue to order from them. In the mean time I am still waiting for mine to arrive.

I just thought it was funny that the cart I didn't pay for shipping got here before the one that I paid for shipping. I'm really hoping it comes tomorrow so I can finally finish the page I start using the cart I ordered. The last time I checked the tracking it was at least in NJ. I don't know how much work goes on over a holiday weekend with the USPS.

My package left Mississipi this morning. It's getting closer!!! And, the delivery date changed to tomorrow!!!!:banana:
 
Also ordered at the 50% time and had mine in a week. In my 3 orders from them now, they have been on time!
 
My SIL got her package and she was missing 4 carts! My is not here yet...and its status has not been updated since 5/29...WOW, I guess you get what you pay for! :headache:
 
Jacksmomma, I hope your package shows up soon!

Mine came within a mile of my house as it went from Mississippi to 2 hours east of me to be put on another truck to come 2 hours back here! But, I just checked and it left Jacksonville at 3:27 this morning so it should be here today!!!!!!
 
I got my packaged yesterday. A little longer than usually, but they probably got slammed with that awesome sale. I got 4 rolls of vinyl, 12x24 mat, and 2 packages of blades.

Shipping wasn't the speediest, but the holiday weekend in there didn't help anything either. My package is "out for delivery" so I should be getting it soon!!! I was hoping it would be waiting by the front door when I got home from work since UPS usually comes in the morning, but no such luck.

I ordered 2 carts (Paisly and 50 States) and a Bind-it-all. I can't wait to play with my new toys!!!!
 
Mine arrived!!!! Everything I ordered was there. I even forgot that I had ordered Cricut blades so that was a nice surprise!:goodvibes
 
Still waiting...hopefully it comes today, but I am not holding my breath. This is why I hate ordering online...things never arrive when they say they should.
 
Well, I got the package, but I am missing items! :mad: I cannot believe this! I tried to call their 1-877 number and their mailbox is full...imagine that, I bet I am not the only one having issues. I sent a rather lengthy email through their site telling them exactly how I feel about the experience thus far. I cannot believe I only got 3/4 of what I ordered! :headache:
 
I am sorry that they did not come through for you. Although they have worked out for me, there is another company mentioned here frequently, that I have not had success with, and others rave about. I do understand your frustration.
The follow-up email did work for me with the other company (plus I got my frustrations out), so I do hope they respond in a positive way to you.
 
I'm glad you finally got your package, Jacksmomma, but I'm so sorry everything wasn't there. I hope your e-mail gets them moving and you get it all settled. Good luck!:wizard:
