Did you watch last night 7th Heaven?

I missed the last 15 minutes or so. The last I seen was Matt going out with Ruthie. Did they ever say what was up with Matt?

He's still in school. As of last night's show he and Sarah were still together...but still on the rock's. He went out with Ruthie since it was his real wedding anniversary(when they eloped). Ruthie was the only one to know that.

Previews for next week were really weird...two couples are getting married...I'm clueless as to which ones...and I think Annie's dad passes away.

Two couples getting married? I couldn't figure out who it was that was eloping but I didn't see two. I thought it was cecile but then she was the one that said you would need a suitcase, but it looked like someone blonde.....

I don't know... it's going to bug me though. I didn't think last night's episode was all that great

Annie's (Catherine Hicks) half-sister Lilly (guest star Michelle Phillips, Knots Landing and musical group "The Mamas and The Papas") is getting married and wants their ailing father to walk her down the isle but Annie worries that the strain might be too much for him. Meanwhile, Fred (guest star Al Ruscio) and Mrs. Bink (guest star Eileen Brennan) attend premarital counseling with Chandler (Jeremy London), but Fred's mother (guest star Carol Arthur) tries to put a stop to the wedding because she thinks Mrs. Bink is a gold digger; Jimmy (guest star Glen Poehlman) and Pat (guest star Pam Rawuka), two mentally challenged people, decide to get married after just one date and ask Chandler to perform the ceremony, but Jimmy's parents (guest stars Dick Van Patten and Patricia Van Patten) try to put a stop to it

This is off the wb site. I haven't watched the "real" episodes in a while, just reruns but I have a few questions...
Who is Fred and Mrs.Bink? Who is Jimmy and Pat?

Another Question. What was the surprise that Cecilie was going with her BF for? Something that she had to 'trust him' and he was taking her somewhere?

Sounds like next week's show is going to have quite a bit of action. I thought that the story line this week was a little slow but I guess you can't have action every time.

Doesn't Annie look to be gaining a little weight?

I love the Mrs. Binks character!

That's exactly what my father said. He said her face was getting fuller and she was wearing baggy clothes. Could she be pregnant in real life?

As for the show, I've been watching from the beginning, but it has been SOOOOO slow lately. It's a lead in to Everwood, which is a really great show, so I usually just put on the channel at 8, and whatever I catch of Seventh Heaven, I catch.

I really enjoyed the first couple years of 7th Heaven. I was so happy to have a show I felt that a family could sit down and enjoy together.

I haven't been able to watch it as regularly over the last 2 years. I caught it last night. Was that a typical episode. I realize that I'm out of touch with some of the characters but the story seemed highly corny. The only part taht reminded me of the old show was Matt and Ruthie together. They were cute and together. I know Lucy was always loveably flakey but she seemed so ditzy. Obviously the show always had a waltons or little house sweetness (that I liked) but it seemed a little too sugar sweet. I thought the acting and the story lines were weak.

I hope it was just an off episode. I would hate to lose a solid show for families. We need more shows like that.

I have watched this show almost religiously (LOL) since it started and, I have to agree, at least once in every show lately, there is some real corn-ball kinda stuff.
