Did you use Disney's sand ceremony items?

I'm trying to decide if I should pick out my own bottles and sand for the ceremony or if it would be easier to go with what Disney has.

If you used Disney, can you tell me:
a) how much it cost (we will need 3 colors -- dh, me, and ds)
b) if the bottles are a rental or if you actually get to the keep the one with all the sand in it at the end of the ceremony
c) if so, does the bottle come with a lid so we could take it on the plane?; and d) did they have lots of colors to choose from, or where you able to provide your own colors?

Thanks so much! :flower3:

I had two colors of sand, and it was $25 total. You get to keep the center jar and it has a lid. This was April 2010, so I don't know if prices have gone up or not. I don't know how much a third color would be to add it.

Here are some pictures:

Here is the picture Rosie sent me when I asked to see it.

That is exactly the info I was looking for! Thank you SO much! :goodvibes

I am glad I could help!

Also there were a bunch of colors to choose from, and you could bring your own if you wanted. I didn't want to deal with bringing my own, so I just got it from Disney.

We just had our wedding on 12/03 and we used disney's sand ceremony pieces. It was $35 dollars because we added two more colors for the kids. We got to keep all four glasses that we used for pouring and the lid on the jar held the sand in very securely on our way home. I'm so glad we used theirs so we didn't have to worry about bringing one with us.

That's good to know about the extra jars! Thanks! :)

I agree I told Rosie I was suprised at the price and to not have to worry about getting the sand and jars there just getting them home, made me so happy. I only had to worry about them once. :goodvibes

Me too!!! I was so happy with the price and the ease of not worrying about bringing it down to the wedding. The first I saw of everything was when I was walking up to the Altar during the wedding. I loved it all, and wouldn't have done it any differently!

This is the only picture of the sand ceremony items that I have right now because we haven't gotten our professional photos back yet. It's the finished product!
