Did you use CYFA travel insurance during the closure?

I'm wondering if people who purchased CYFA for their DVC rental got reimbursed during the closure. I will be trying to rent DVC for October 2021 and I want to make sure that if I purchase CYFA insurance that I will be covered.

The only way to know is to read, and understand the policy thoroughly before purchasing.
I have seen a couple that reimburse on a sliding scale up to 75% of your cost. Also some exclude pandemics. In addition Covid May be considered pre existing and not covered. Finally, it’s not cheap.

In the end.... book a room directly from Disney. They have a very reasonable refund policy, plus they are better rooms (as compared to studios).

As someone who has solely rented dvc points for the past 7 years, I will now only book directly through Disney until, at the earliest, for the next few years.

We recently looked into Cancel for Any Reason insurance and we found it had to be bought when you booked a cruise. We were hoping to buy it before paid in full.
