Maybe there were issues going on behind the scenes that we weren't privy to.
1. Perhaps Bolton was hard to get along with?
2. Perhaps he had an inflated view of himself?
3. Perhaps he didn't want to put the time into practice that was required?

These are things that the producers and the judges would have been aware of that may have colored their responses and perceptions.

I wouldn't be surprised it this is true...it would make sense why Bruno was the way he was.

BTW - I didn't watch the 2nd night so I'm not sure of Bolton's reaction that everyone is talking about.

I didn't see it, either. I've been fast forwarding the results shows because they are so boring. The one time something interesting happens, I don't see it.

To be completely honest, this is the FIRST epi that I have ever watched of DWTS. I don't know the judges so I can't comment on their personalities, but I felt Bruno was spot on with everything he said. Was it nice? No. It was completely honest, though. That was an AWFUL performance and if I were Michael, I'd have been completely ashamed of it.

The questions have been raised about a personal beef Bruno might have had with Bolton. Judging from the little snippet they showed of Bolton and Chelsie(?) I'd say it is possible Bruno was looking at the whole picture. MB came into the studio making every excuse in the book about why he couldn't dance or why he was late blah blah blah. Chelsie even told him she was TRYING to help him. It just felt like he thought he should be able to come and go as he pleased and that he was above putting in the time that everyone else did practicing...until the last minute.

Good catch. I feel bad for the pros when the stars don't make an effort. How long they survive on the show dictates their pay.
