It was the house and the Py family who lives a few minutes away from me. I did not see the whole thing- I taped it.

I have seen the house in person many times now, it looks even nicer in person than on tv.

I watched it tonight. Bless those grandparents for the sacrifices they have made. The house looked beautiful!!

Yes--I saw it! Such a nice house! I have seen less privileged people on the show (it seems like these folks actually lived in a development), but the story behind why they were chosen was very sad.

To the OP--Where in Philly is this? The outskirts?

Also--Where the heck is a Medieval Times in Philadelphia :confused3

I think the house is in the NorthEast section. The closest Medevil Times I know of is in Arundal Mills Mall in DC.

I am so glad you posted. I have always wondered if those extreme homes look very out of place in those neighborhoods. What do you think?

It does stand out. It is taller and a different color than the rest of the houses on the street. I don't think it looks bad though.

By the way, its not a development. It is just a regular street with split level homes.

I love this show. It always makes me cry. Those kids are lucky their grandparents were willing/able to take them in. I cant imagine losing both parents at such a young age within a year of each other.
