We just came back from the world. One night we decided to go to Polynesian to see the movie (toy story 3). We have heard about the campground but never did it. So we get to polynesian and I tell the guard we want to see the movie, I show him my id, we go to the beach area, sit down and relax. While waiting we saw the electric pageant thing on the water (no big deal) but then the fireworks started at mk and we were able to see them from afar, lying down, relaxing. Boy were they such a delight. Then the movie started. At first it was a little hard to hear because the kids are all still playing but then they started to quiet it down. So anyway, if you want something free to do, go to polynesian and see a movie at night. It is free for all guests whether you are staying at that resort or not.

There are a few resorts that do this.

I knew that they had this at the YC/BC from researching my upcoming trip. But I didn't know that they offered it to all guests staying on property.

Does anyone know if they also still do the dive-in movies at the value resort pools?

We do this all the time. The best one is Wilderness campground. It has Chip-N-Dale and a pre-show. They get the kids involved and Chip-N-Dale go around and greet every kid.

If you are already at the MK or a hotle near there, go early take the boat over. Stay by the dock to watch the fireworks, play in the palyground for a while and then go to the movie area.

They also do a marshmallow roast or smores, that is extra $, not sure how much.

You couldn't hear the music but it was still a great show. After being with the crowds for a few days it was nice to be able to relax to see the fireworks without everyone standing next to you.

Yeah, they were playing them by the pool at All star Music last month. Saratoga Springs also had movies in the pool area last summer. I always thought that most of the resorts had something like this.
