I was reading on another discussion board that Martha Stewart Inc bought EK Success and that is why they are making her new line. I am bummed. I love EK Success lines and I can't stand Martha. I wonder if she will change the lines to look more like her? I sure hope not. That would make me stop buying EK all together.

Oh crud! I didn't know that and agree with what you said. However, since I can't stand MS and have no intention of buying any of her stuff thereby supporting her, does that mean I can't buy EK Success stuff either?!?

Well I might have to think about that last bit some more. It might not be entirely self-serving.

I hadn't heard that either. I just went to the EK site and couldn't find any information about that. I hope she doesn't change anything either. I like quite a bit of thier products.

awww now, don't hate Martha....if we all had a billion dollars, we would have bought our own craft company too! I actually liked alot of her stuff at Mike's. Overpriced? Probably. The 18x18 album looks ridiculous. You would have to buy a seperate coffee table just to keep it on. I liked alot of the paper crafts, and her pens. Everything else looks like I could find it cheaper elsewhere.

HOWEVER....if she starts messing with the Disney stuff...I will be a very unhappy camper!!!

Martha Stewart did not buy EK Success, but we have partnered together to launch the new Martha Stewart crafts product line.

There will not be changes to the regular EK line of products except to continue launching great stuff for you and your friends!

Sorry, I didn't mean to scare anybody. I was just passing along the message. If EK Success hasn't been bought by MS my day has been made. It would be a hard to decide between a product line I love and a woman I can't stand!!! At least my Disney items are safe for now. If MS would buy EK I would hope Disney would take their liscense else where. Just my humble opinion
