Did you know cats can sigh?

My cat, Diana, looked in her food bowl this morning and sighed. I guess 8 years of eating the same old thing will get to a cat. She never mentioned it before. :confused3

Sort of like a little, fuzzy Jewish mother ...

Mine is only 6 months old so she is still excited to get more food in the bowl.

My cat sighs a lot, usually right after DH has been teasing her. It's very dramatic and cute.

My cats were so unamused by their food that they stopped eating it or they threw it up. When my parents finally changed their food they ate a little and at the same time looked at each other and you could almost hear them thinking "yeah, we got 'em!" and went on enjoying their new food. Cats crack me up!

:rotfl2: they also snore and burp, I've learned!

I've got 3 and one snores really loud. :) That is not the only end that strange sounds come out of either... :rotfl2:

Fergie snores; I guess Diana is too delicate for such things. However, she has "guilt" down to an artform.

I am literally LOL at the image of your cat looking down at her food and sighing. Sounds a lot like my cat!

My cat sighs when i try to hug her. She doesn't like hugs :(. My old cat Alley used to sigh, snore, and fart!

Ours likes to sigh when she is sleeping on you. She will change positions and then do a little sigh and then close her eyes.
I have to laugh though when she grooms me. She will manage to yank my ponytial halfway out at times. I love when she gets by my ears and you can hear her sniffing and breathing.

When we make our cat angry and then release him, he "blows" at us. Imagine inhaling deeply and then forcing the air through your nose as hard as you can. He did it twice last night and we all were laughing. :rotfl2:

Our cat Daisy used to jump on the bed between us, curl in a ball, and rest her head on the pillow with a sigh. We really miss her. :sad1:

Yep.......4 of my 6 sigh and then they proceed to pertend to cover up their food bowls like they cover up their mess in the litter box, I guess they are trying to tell me this tastes like s***! Then off to the dry food they go......

My cat Chloe does this too. It's so funny. :rotfl: We always say she's getting "huffy."

This morning Diana was face first in her food bowl, with no comment, so I guess all is forgiven. :goodvibes

Fergie doesn't "blow" at me, but she's very good at letting me know when I'm annoying her. This usually takes place when I'm trying to read in bed and she's sitting on my chest.

(I feel the need to mention once every so often, I did not name these cats. My brother gave them to me pre-named.)
