Did you include directions in your invitations?

I'm working on my invites and my aunt (the wedding planner) says that I should really include directions to the ceremony. What did all of you do? Most people will be staying on property and we'll use Disney transporation to get to the ceremony. I've included the address so others who want to drive can map it. Should I also include a directions card? If so, how? A map with the area highlighted?

I'm sure this depends on opinions and what people want to do, but we are not puting directions in our actual invitations. Everyone is staying on property for us so it's really not worth paying to add an extra card to the invitation. We are going to make welcome boxes and our guests will receive them at check in. We are going to add a note in there as to how to get to the ceremony (where to walk, what bus or boat to take etc). I think if you know of certain people staying off property, you can provide them with the address and location separately. Just my opinion! :goodvibes

That is what I was thinking. I don't want the invitation to be loaded with too much info so I wanted to just put them in the welcome bags but then if they don't read them...

That makes more sense- no need to give extraneous info to those who won't be there, if you're going to have welcome bags. Not your fault if they don't read them! Not to mention- who brings the invite with them, anyway?

I don't plan on it.

I'm going to include the address and leave it at that. If people want directions they can call me or Mapquest it!

I will probably put that kind of stuff in the welcome packets. Anyone who is not staying on property already knows how to get to the venues.

what is the actual address to the Wedding Pavilion?
