did you get your state refund before your federal?

We got our state today but not our federal. Whats up with that?

Yep, first time ever. I got mine on Monday and still haven't seen my federal yet. And to boot, made a $370 error on what I thought would be a great refund

We did. Got our State very soon after filing and Federal a week later.

We got our state today as well. They're always quicker. For federal, if its submitted before thurs, you get your federal the following friday. So for example if you filed from last friday thru today, should get federal next friday, 3/9.

Filed on a Sunday, got state 9 days later (Tuesday) then federal the Friday after that.

I got my state tax today. I checked on irs.gov and federal will be deposited on March 6th. More money for our vacations...

Yes . . . We got our State two days after and our Federal came 13 days later.

I recieved my state and then a few hours later recieved my federal. It took less than 2 weeks.

State first, then checked online about our federal. Said we should get federal on March 27, well I guess it's March 28th...boy that month went fast.
We got our refund yesterday...

Yep, us too. That has never happened. BUT I filed state directly from our state website, free And I filed federal thru turbo tax online. It said I should have federal by the 9th and irs.gov says by the 13th. No biggie - as long as it's here before Easter Sunday (45 day mark for our trip!) so I can pay it off, then I will be happy.

I always get my state before my federal. Filed last Sunday. Accepted Sunday night and state deposited this morning and federal scheduled for Feb 10th

We always get the state much quicker than federal.

One has nothing to do with the other. The rare years when I've gotten refunds, the state has always been faster. I think it has to do with the fact that the state is dealing with a much smaller volume of tax returns than the feds are.

Haven't even filed yet. Still waiting on a couple of things we need before we can do taxes.
