Did you get a postcard AFTER you booked your room?

Hello,

I am planning to go to WDW in August 2005. I sent away for and received a video planner this week.

Two years ago I was interested in doing Disney and got the video. I also remember receiving a couple of postcards that year that I didn't use.

I'm hoping since I got the video again this year, I'd get some postcards this time for me to use. Disney didn't have me on any of their mailing lists before the first video request, so I'm hoping that requesting the video will trigger some again.

My question is, I already know when I want to go and I wanted to book my room. Will Disney send postcards anyway if my name is in their system with a reservation? If that could hinder any postcards, I won't book yet.

Can I sign up for a video in my husband's name at the same address? Will we be more likely to get a postcard that we could use in Aug of 2005?

I've gotten three postcards since booking my trip in March.

I didn't use any of them because they were not a better deal than what I got with the 7 for 5 deal.

I got one postcard after booking and used it on the ressie I had already booked.
