Did you get a backpack with your add on?

We just did an add-on of 150 at BCV.

They sent us a litho and a backpack with the paperwork. I wasn't expecting either.

Added on at SSR and received a backpack,no litho though.when we added on at VWL we never got anything.

Hmmmm. we did an add-on at BWV, got a litho, no backpack!

Go figure. Maybe it's all in how much you add on... 50 and under, a litho. 100 to 150, a backpack. 150 up, da works.

It's funny, actually -- when we bought our original BWV contract in '99, we didn't get a litho. (I think we got a license plate...and maybe some sort of bag to keep all our DVC stuff in? Can't remember!) So getting one for a small add-on seemed like a real bonus to dh and me! (Of course, not anymore, knowing there were also backpacks to be had, lol!)

I think it's 150 backpack and picture.
I added on 100 in May and only got the picture.

People are so caught up in getting something for free, Who really cares if you get a $20 dollar back pack when you spend thousands of dollars. Boy that back pack really makes or breaks the purchase, if certainly did for me, the 40 some odd years of accomidations were really meaning less.

It certainly didn't make or break our purchase. I just posted because I was pleasantly surprised to receive a litho and a backpack.

I was trying to get a feel for who didn't get one in case I ever wanted to give it away.

I think it's a "tweencie" bit nice to get something like that. It makes you think about your DVC and how much you love it. Heck, it might even get people talking about DVC if they see you using it somewhere.

The only thing I wish DVC didn't send was the paper showing how much money we just spent.

We got a backpack when we purchased our original contract, but no backpacks with our five add-ons. We did get lithos with most of the add-ons.

We also got a pen with our original purchase, but many here are insisting I swiped it from our guide...

Yes, Maistre Gracey, They have a sign up in the DVC offices that says if you ever come in they are to hide anything that's not nailed down. If I go look at the SSR models and there is a lamp missing I'm going to give them your name.

I guess you really wouldn't want 6 VWL lithos anyway.

I got my package for SSR today and it contained a backpack but no litho. This is our first purchase in DVC so we purchased 200 pts. I hope there is a litho at some point. I can put it on the wall in my office and dream of my next visit!

We purchased 200 points in 2001 and received a license plate (and lost it ) We've done two add ons, one for 75 and one for 25 and have two lithos of VWL. I certainly don't regret buying into DVC because I didn't get a backpack, but have always wondered if it's a perk the guide has to spring for, and ours didn't or what the deal is.

I think you have to add on 150 to get the backpack.

The license plate sounds nice.

I love our litho of VWL, it's very nice.

We got the plate with the beach bag and tote on our initial purchase,added on at VWL,nothing,added on at SSR(over 200pts.),got the backpack.I don't think there is any formula for what you get,I think if your guide has it on hand they send it.No big deal either way.
